In 2016, DreamSPACES was born as a small local business of two nephews uniting their know-how with a mission to combine modern design with traditional hand embroidery in home textile. Their grandparents, antique collectors since Ottoman Empire, played a significant part in shaping their cultural heritage. Combined with their passion for travelling from East to West and collecting handmade items worldwide, they were committed to preserving the hand-craftsmanship and transcending to generations with truly contemporary yet timeless designs. They identify the talented artisans they work with as the touchstone of their business. They have faith in the power of women and therefore they consider the employment of women as a priority.

Nature and flowers have been their loyal muse, and that was their starting point. They believed in the power of flowers; the rich symbolism flowers host in themselves, the multitude of feelings they breathe; love, joy, purity. Ultimately their hand-embroidered flowers on linen napkins became their most popular offering.

In their words:‘’Though we are from different cultures, the flowers unite us in one language: sharing emotions. Flowers lift people’s spirits and celebrate life. We want to participate in these celebrations with the unique style of our products, but we aim to do things differently; we want our clients to appreciate the hard work behind these handcrafted creations. In a world where everything is consumed so rapidly, we want them to make their choice on natural products, support the talented artisans and embrace these handcrafts that will pass on to generations, from grandparents to grandchildren. This is what we call sustainability, and it is everyone’s responsibility. DreamSPACES plays her part by sourcing only biodegradable natural products and fibre, which do not require any pesticides or fertilisers and require The European Flax Certification on the fabrics they use.”
